Lachlan graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law in 2016. He is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia. Lachlan is also a Registered Migration Agent.
Lachlan originally joined Brett Slater Solicitors as a paralegal in April 2013 whilst completing his university studies. He has worked in various roles within Brett Slater Solicitors which has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of all the necessary elements at each stage of a migration application; such as information and document collection, application preparation and complex regulation and policy analysis.
Throughout his tenure with Brett Slater Solicitors, Lachlan has developed a keen interest in judicial review and now handles the majority of the firm’s applications in the Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Prior to his commencement with Brett Slater Solicitors, Lachlan received substantial training and was employed in various roles that had a strong customer service focus. The training he received and the skills he developed have effectively been transferred to his current role, enabling Lachlan to develop and nurture client relationships and ensuring that every client remains well informed and satisfied with the progression of their matter.
